Uncle Frank, you are and always will be a gentleman and the world should have more people like you! Your humour, kindness and humility will always be in our memories. Love you and hope you are with Auntie Jane and Mum having a good glass of red wine. RIP Uncle Frank xx

Hey Grandad,
I opened a decent red (was hard to find in Thailand!) and you were here to share it with me. So many memories of golf and Bath Rugby matches… especially the epic days at Twickenham we enjoyed… from the first John Player Cup final ‘suck he Bristol!!!’ To the following years when we were the first to arrive in the car park and you and blossom set a trend of grand car boot picnics before the match… unsure how many people joined us as Bath rolled up the victories.
Christmas days in Atworth, BBQs in the summer, playing scrabble with you and Grandma, coming to Heathrow with dad and David to pick you up when you came home from Saudi.
I even stayed with you by myself at Marker Rasen when Linford Christie won gold at Barcelona! Playing golf with you there and your friend appearing from an adjacent fairway shouting ‘I’m over ‘ere Frank!’ in relation to our favourite Cornish comedian Jethro.
Last time we went out in Bath with England Full back Matt Perry… you drank us under the table when you got us on the Noilly Prat… you legend.
Am smiling as I type these words… I’m
Sure everyone else smiles when they reminisce about times with you. What a remarkable legacy.
Sweet dreams.
Mush love.
